From Nursery, all children in the school are members of a house under the guidance of the house captain and three staff house tutors. This creates a strong feeling of belonging and pupils can contribute to the healthy competition between houses by earning stars for effort and achievement and kindness and good behaviour.

The houses are Glenday, after the first Headmistress at Rookesbury, and Carpenter and Garnier, both family members of the original Georgian house.

House meetings are held every other week and they are opportunities to celebrate achievements and most importantly to have fun!
