Your child will learn French starting in the Nursery. They sing songs in french and action rhymes. Our aim is to stimulate a lasting curiosity and enjoyment in the French language and culture.

In the Upper School we pursue this through extended conversations and we prepare a thoroughly sensorial environment in our specially equipped french Room. Children taste french cheeses in the cafe, and they buy and sell in the boulangerie with their euros. Years 6 and 7 explore the real thing with residential trips to Paris and Normandy.
