Years 7 and 8 undertake many visits to educational venues to help them understand the outside world in which they live. The study of the political and judicial system includes trips to the Magistrates Court, Mayor’s parlour, the local MP and culminates in a tour of the Houses of Parliament: similarly we visit local media, charities, the disabled and infirm, religious institutions, emergency services and environmental agencies.
