In Year Two, the curriculum focuses on high quality teaching of English, maths and Science. Your child will use their learnt skills in English to link their understanding of humanities and the outside world, within a stimulating learning environment in which they are happy, motivated and keen to learn.

Your children have different learning styles and they will learn about their preferred learning style, be it visual, auditory or kinaesthetic. ICT is taught as a tool for recording and research on our high tech brand new computers using Office 2007. Your child will take the Key Stage 1 SATs at the end of the Summer Term and it is with this knowledge and skills, as well as an understanding of themselves that they are prepared for transition into the Upper School.
