In Year One your children follow the National Curriculum, which is further enriched by a variety of specialist teaching in Music, Art, French, Drama and PE. Your child will start to develop into an independent learner, who plays hard and works hard within a supportive and stimulating framework. Your child will visit local places of interest to support the work covered in class and they will extend their learning through extensive use of the superb school grounds and the beautiful historic building. They will perform in Celebration Assemblies, with confidence and enjoyment, where you can be part of their achievements and share in these very special moments.
