Rookesbury Park School Choir wow their audience!On Friday, 20th May, the Rookesbury Park School Chamber Choir once again represented our school at the annual Fareham Music Festival.Competing alongside three other school choirs, and before a large audience, the Chamber Choir performed with style, confidence and enthusiasm. Some children, as young as eight years, old sang with real enthusiasm and enjoyment. The varied programme of three pieces consisted of a traditional song in four parts, a beautifully reflective Psalm and an energetic ‘Rock and Roll’ medley complete with choreography! The Chamber Choir was awarded First Place with distinction, and received the Festival trophy; all children, parents, staff and audience felt justifiably proud of all their efforts. We shall next enjoy singing together at the Speech Day and Leaver's Assembly at the end of term.
