On a hot Summer morning in June the Nursery and Reception children visited Wickham and observed many different houses. This was aditect link with our topic of houses and homes, this term. The first building we visited was St Nicholas Church. The children were fascinated by the enormous church doors and wanted to see he key inside! 
The  Reverend Elizabeth kindly showed us around. We all sat quietly on the pews and marvelled at the stained glass windows. Later we walked rond the village. We had our picnic at Titchfield Abbey. We pretended we were princes and princesses, going back in time and imagined oiurselves at the Abbey all those years ago. back to list
