Rookesbury Park School hosted the annual 'Send a Cow Conference ' in the Jubilee Hall last term. The school raised £2000 with children doing odd jobs at home, sponsored reads and even bringing in their own packed lunch to school. Headmistress, Pippa Harris-Burland presented the cheque for £2000 at the packed conference and was greeted with spontaneous applause!
The money will buy a farmyard and Mr Quar, parent at the school and Ambassador to the charity, flew out to Ethiopia to present the cheque. back to list
