On a sun blessed afternoon, all of the children and some parents take part in a programme of swimming and athletics. The aim at Rookesbury is for your child to run, jump, swim, dive or balance and have a whole lot of fun along the way. The children are encouraged to beat their own personal best and all children cheer each other on in a warm and supportive environment. Pimms is served to herald the start of the swimming sports. Parents are actively encouraged to participate in the Parents' Race and as always, the day ends with a sumptious tea and the awarding of the well deserved cups and medals.
